Jo was born in Sheldahl, grew up in Huxley, and currently lives in Boone. Jo has been with Story City Dental since 2019 and currently serves as our Office Manager. She became a Registered Dental Assistant in 2009 and received her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant I certificate in 2013. She graduated with honors from the DMACC Phlebotomy program in 2021 and has been serving as our in-office phlebotomist. She has also dedicated the last 20 years to her 2nd home, The Colorado Grill, in Boone on the weekends. She loves spending time with her husband of 26+ years. They enjoy riding the motorcycle (as much as weather permits), going to concerts, and cheering on the cyclones during the football and basketball games. Jo has 4 kids – James (29), Jon (28), Dominick (25), and Maggy (23) with one grandbaby Meadow (3 mo).
