Story City Dental was founded in 2017, with the goal of creating an unprecedented dental experience that is comfortable, easy and comprehensive. Our office and team have the skills and technology to treat a wide spectrum of dental needs all in one location, with the option to sleep through it. And we don’t do this by simply using oral sedatives; instead, we provide true sedation dentistry utilizing IV sedation for any needed dental care. We’re currently the only general dentistry practice in Iowa that does this, far surpassing the level of comfort and safety that any other type of office-based sedation provides.

We know you’re busy and we strive to provide solutions to your care in one or two appointments. We’re not your typical dental practice – come visit us to experience the difference!

SOPHIA CHEN, DDS

Dr. Chen is excited to be back in central Iowa after practicing dentistry in Keokuk for two years.  She is focused on helping people of all ages achieve and maintain beautiful, healthy smiles and delivering compassionate care in a comfortable and friendly setting. Dr. Chen is committed to implementing the latest innovations in dentistry into her daily practice and is passionate about community outreach and education.
